We like it because:

A truly great werewolf film only comes along once in a blue moon, so it’s exciting to see one that not only delivers are the scares and tension of a great horror but also has the intelligence to transform the legend and bring it into the 21st Century.

William Brent Bell (The Devil Inside) proves why he’s one of the top emerging directors in the horror genre. He takes a gritty approach, using found footage to ground the story in reality and deliver big scares. He also creates a much less cartoonish version of the werewolf than we’ve seen before – the result is arguably the monster’s most savage and terrifyingly real incarnation to date.

That’s also thanks to Brian Scott O’Connor, who makes a powerful debut as the silent and imposing Talan. He leads a pack a impressive actors that includes rising stars (A.J. Cook), established character actors (Vic Sahay) and veteran talent (Sebastian Roché).

A howling good horror!
