Coming to terms with the death of her daughter, Bea returns to general population of Wentworth Correctional Centre to find that the balance of power has shifted. Violence, narcotics and brutality have taken hold and Franky as top dog is anything but merciful.

However there’s a new Governor on the cell block and she’s cutting the supply. Sly, unnerving and relentless Joan “The Freak” Ferguson will stop at nothing to ensure her prison is clean.

With nothing to lose the women of Wentworth Prison are out for blood!

We like it because:

Wentworth Prison has it all, action, drama and killer storylines, bring the hard hitting drama home this November on DVD for a series like no other. Putting some of HBO’s star titles to shame Wentworth Prison is the hit TV show that brings together a tried and tested format and owns it. Shocking revelations pave the way for great performances and suspenseful entertainment that will have you on the edge of your seat.

Pamela Rabe’s new incarnation of Prisoner Cell Block H’s Joan “The Freak” Ferguson is breathtaking, never has there been a character so deliciously dark and manipulative, her story is both intense and exciting. A performance not to be missed!

If you like hard hitting drama then Wentworth Prison is the perfect series for you. Move over Orange is the New Black, there’s a new top dog in town!
