Synopsis:

Based on the popular comic book franchise, Metal Hurlant Chronicles links adventures that take place on separate worlds, connected by the last remains of the asteroid Metal Hurlant, which journeys through the universe. As futuristic robots, fire-breathing dragons and brutal warriors wreak havoc across the solar system, a young woman wakes to learn that the apocalypse is imminent. And when bedlam ensues, space travelers fight for survival as oxygen leaks from their spaceship and as civilisation continues to unravel, a young hero sets out on a dangerous expedition to the end of the galaxy in search of a secret race

We like it because:

Set across vastly different planets and cultures, Metal Hurlant Chronicles has huge diversity in its storytelling, making it unlike any other science-fiction show around. Jumping between worlds that range from medieval times to futuristic space stations, it’s an incredibly smart concept that delivers something for all fans of sci-fi and fantasy.

It also boasts a brilliant cast, combining young up-and-coming talent, such as Scott Adkins, Kelly Brook and Michelle Ryan, with genre legends such as Rutger Hauer, Michael Biehn, and James Marsters (TV’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer).

And while the stories take place in different worlds across the galaxy, they do have one thing in common – plenty of epic action, creating a turbulent and exciting voyage, where there’s danger and adventure at every turn
